Tactility Training Blankets is a limited edition print and memory card game by Howie Sneider and Kiki Sciullo.
A limited edition of 100 prints. Sized to fit a standard 10” x 10” frame, the artwork measures approximately 9.5” high by 9.5” wide. The archival prints were created by Tiny Showcase and ship with a certificate of authenticity. The artwork has been printed on a heavy 290gsm natural white paper.
Memory Game, 2nd edition: The boxed memory game contains 16 heavy coated cardstock game pieces and a guide card.
The original piece is a multimedia quilt.
From the artists:
"Howie’s quilt exists in two equal but defined states; As hexagonal blankets and rectangular folded masks that reveal hidden characters. They are a playful reflection on nationalism and cultural branding inspired by nature.
Kiki’s drawings flatten the sculptures into icons creating a unique memory game experience. Players must match each piece in their dissimilar form, finding the sameness within the diverse cast of characters."
The print is available hand-framed in maple with archival mat and glass by Vermont's Joel Taplin of Taplin MFG. Framed artwork is archivally matted and hung with UV-protective glass. The hand-made frames are made from locally-milled wood with inlaid splines in each corner for added strength. Please allow three weeks for the completion of your custom, hand-made frame.
Also available with custom-cut, museum matting for standard size frames. Please allow an extra 2 business days for processing.
Howie and Kiki have chosen Paws New England as this week's charity. $200 from the sale of their artwork will be donated to rescue abandoned and abused dogs.
"We rescue abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters and desperate situations, provide them with veterinary care and much needed TLC, and bring them to New England where we place them in safe, loving homes."
