Curing Time is a limited edition of 100 prints by kelli rae adams. The print measures 14 inches wide by 11 inches tall, and the artwork measures approximately 12.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall. The archival prints were created by Tiny Showcase and ship with a certificate of authenticity. The artwork has been printed on a heavy 310gsm textured natural white watercolor paper.
The original work is a large-scale spectrum of pickled local produce, canned by the artist. Presented alongside a series of clay tablets recording details of the corresponding labor, the work highlights the numerous, unseen tasks and efforts embedded in that which we consume.
Available hand-framed in maple by Vermont's Joel Taplin of Taplin MFG. Framed artwork is archivally matted and hung with UV-protective glass. The handmade frames are made from locally-milled wood with inlaid splines in each corner for added strength. Please allow three weeks for the completion of your custom, handmade frame.
kelli has chosen to support Debt Collective. 15% of our profits from print sales will be donated.
βThe Debt Collective is a membership-based union for debtors and our allies. Our current economic system forces us into debt in various different areas of our lives: student debt for education; a mortgage to buy a home; debts for utility bills or phone bills, medical care, or even incarceration. No one should have to go into debt to meet their basic needs! These debts are illegitimate and the system needs to change, and we are united to win that change. How? Through the power of our union.β
