Each of the one hundred 10 Beasts! box sets contains ten letterpress prints printed on 100% cotton Somerset Velvet paper. The 260gsm archival printmaking paper was manufactured at St. Cuthbert's Mill in Inveresk, England. Measuring 7" square, the prints come blind debossed with the artist's name and the edition number. Each portfolio box is hand numbered to match the debossed numbering on the artwork it contains.

In January of 2007, Fantagraphics released Beasts!, a collection of mythological creatures illustrated by about a hundred of the most acclaimed artists and cartoonists from the most avant-garde gambits of the art world. The collection, created and edited by Jacob Covey, was inspired by creatures that were thought at one time to actually exist. 

Each of the ten images in this editioned box set was created by a Beasts! contributor specially for the set and pressed by letterpress artist Dan Wood of DWRI. The print collection is housed in a hand-crafted portfolio box created by If'n Books + Marks with a two-color glow-in-the-dark jacket design by Beasts! designer Jacob Covey.  The artists in our collection include: Meg Hunt, Souther Salazar, S.Britt, Jesse JeDoux, Saelee Oh, Josh Cochran, Kenneth Lavalee, Tony Millionaire, Keith Andrew Shore, and Jordan Crane.
