Amy Ross

Boston-based artist Amy Ross is interested in the idea of artist as mad scientist. Her drawings offer a vision of what might happen if the DNA sequence of a plant were spliced with that of an animal. Amy attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and holds a Master's degree in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. She has exhibited her work in galleries throughout the country, from New York and Boston to Los Angeles and Portland. Her first solo show in New York City, "Anima Mundi," opens at Jen Bekman Gallery on April 27.
