I was born and raised in Izhevsk - city of dead ends, sad electronic
music and Finno-Ugric cultural roots. My love of drawing leads me to
the Udmurt State University, where I studied arts about five years.
On graduating from university I worked for a couple of years as a
TV journalist. I was a presenter of TV program about artists and
culture of my native city. But it seemed impossible for me to
become an illustrator, because there was no need for this
profession in Izhevsk. In summer of 2003 I decided it was time for
a change. So I packed up and took a chance in Moscow. Since then
I work and reside here, in the capital of Russia. Now I'm a
free-lance designer at day and an artist at night. I got serious
last year and started investing my time in my work. For now most of
my pictures were made for self-promotion. But I realize my
possibilities and I hope to find a way to share my work with the masses.
